Course description

The BEcon&Fin programme combines the strengths of the BEcon and the BFin programmes and is designed to meet the interests of students who are seeking a balanced exposure to both economics and finance. While the BEcon and the BFin programmes are more specialised, there is also more room for students to gain exposure to business, social sciences and science subjects.

BEcon&Fin students are required to complete a total of 180 credits of courses. In the first year of study, BEcon&Fin students are required to read six compulsory courses. In the subsequent years, students should take 14 (minimum) to 16 (maximum) courses from the School of Economics and Finance, five of which are compulsory.
